Went to dental surgical office for root canal, gum swollen, jaw swollen, severe headaches and dizzy . Numbing shots did not take effect (needle went into infected area of gum)
Had a 3 root canal with NO PAIN KILLER. Surgeon cracked the tooth, became infected, had to have gum surgery, then had to have broken tooth extracted and a 2nd gum surgery. Total time of pain 3 months, my cost over $2000.00, Results-large gap in my smile but they will gladly put in a bridge for another $3000. I just paid $1,350 for a root canal on a molar, plus $100 for the office visit the prior day to diagnose that I needed a root canal, so this was essentially a $1,450 root canal. This was in Los Angeles. I still need to pay for a crown. Votes: +0
