Here in Brooklyn, NY, my kids were in a minor car accident, when the ambulance showed up they offered to drive the kids to the hospital 10 short blocks away. $500 buck. no services.

After being transported and distance of forty miles, with no other services provided or necessary, we were sent a bill of over a thousand dollars in Benzie County, Michigan.
